Rapid Response flag

When my office was first approached by Rapid Response back in 2012 during my time at City Hall they employed around 325 people and operated out of a 37,500 sq.ft. leased building on W. Division St. in Franklin Square.

Fast forward to today and they are putting the finishing touches on a $14 million, 35,000 sq.ft. expansion where they now employ over 500 people at the same Franklin Square location, which they now own.

The project received financial assistance from both the Syracuse Industrial Development Agency and New York State, and serves as an example of how our limited public resources can be used effectively to support the creation of good paying, high tech jobs in our urban core.

The Company will soon start construction on a new $8 million, 41,000 sq.ft. mixed-use building right down the street on the corner of W. Division & Solar Streets.
